Connie Moore

Connie Holden Cooke Moore went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 29 at the age of 69. Connie is survived by her husband, Johnny Moore; her son, Brad Cooke, his wife, Kelly Cooke; her daughter, Stacy Gabriel, her husband, Chuck Gabriel; her grandchildren, Chad Gabriel, Chase Gabriel, Haley Cooke, Jackson Cooke, Liam Cooke; her sister, Cynthia Black and her husband Mike Black.She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Holden.

Connie was born on October 1, 1947 in Rock Hill, SC. She graduated from Southeastern Beauty College with honors and was a beloved, talented beautician for almost 50 years. She was a hard working, dedicated individual who loved her family with all of her being. She was especially fond of her grandchildren, who called her GiGi. Known for putting others before herself, she loved giving gifts, and the greatest gift she gave us all was herself. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.

Receiving will begin at 12 o'clock followed by a memorial service at 1 o'clock on Friday, February 3rd at First Baptist Church of Matthews 185 S. Trade St. Matthews NC 28105. A brief Graveside service will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery 4601 Freedom Drive Charlotte NC 28208. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Connie's life.
