Denise Bryant

March 7, 1961 — April 28, 2019

Charlotte

Denise Marie Bryant, age 58 of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Denise was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and was a graduate of John Marshall High School and York Technical College. The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from  6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Palmer Building, 2601 E 7th Street, Charlotte, NC.

Denise is survived by her daughter, Lisa Fedell (Ryan), and her son, Phillip Bryant (Lauren).  She is also survived by her brothers, George Phillips (Margaret) and Glenn Phillips (Michelle). Denise will be fondly remembered by her nieces, Lindsey Schlarb (Nick), Katie Chmielecki (Ray), Kimberly Phillips, Karaline Phillips, and her nephew, Matthew Phillips. Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Marjorie Phillips.

Denise grew up in Cleveland, Ohio with her father, mother, and two brothers. Denise was a wonderful sister, mother, and friend to many.  As a child, Denise would bring home stray animals on her way home from school. She loved all animals, especially her four “fur babies:” Rookie, Rudy, Millie, and Bean. Embracing her love of the sun, Denise especially enjoyed being on a boat on Lake Wylie and digging her toes in the sand on the beach. Denise also loved football. Each Sunday, Denise cheered on her favorite team, the Carolina Panthers. Denise truly enjoyed life and was very proud of her two children.

She will be greatly missed. Our memories will live forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to The Humane Society of Charlotte (700 Toomey Ave, Charlotte, NC 28203) in Denise Bryant’s memory.
