Jose Manuel Rivera

Jose Manuel Rivera, beloved son, brother, uncle, and father, was born on July 15, 1975, and was laid to rest on January 11, 2025, after an eight-year battle with cancer. Throughout his life, Jose made an indelible mark on those who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and passion.

Jose was a passionate music enthusiast, and his love for the art form inspired many. He also created and proudly supported his clothing line, C.U.E. (Cake Up Early), which quickly became a symbol of his unique style and entrepreneurial spirit. His creativity and dedication to his work were only matched by his love for his family and community.

Born and raised in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Jose was a familiar and beloved presence in his neighborhood. His warm heart and infectious personality made him a cherished friend to many and an integral part of the community. He was always there to offer support, lend a hand, or share a laugh, and he will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to know him.

Jose is survived by his son, Joseph Rivera, his parents, siblings, and extended family. He will be remembered for his unwavering courage, his enduring love for his family, and his commitment to living life on his own terms.
