Nicole Kennedy
August 31, 1976 — July 7, 2017
Nicole Greene Kennedy, age 40, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte NC. A native of Gaston County and a lifelong registered nurse and servant to her community, she was a daughter of Jimmy Greene and Marsha Cassidy.
Nicole was a loving mother, daughter and sister whose primary focus was her son, Hunter Scott Kennedy. She and Hunter attended The Pointe Church, Belmont NC. She is survived by her husband Jeremy, son Hunter, mother and step father Marsha and Jerry Cassidy, father Jimmy Greene, sister and brother-in-law, Gena and Rudy Pomeroy and their two children, Braden and Ava. She will also be greatly missed by her many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life for Nicole will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at the Pointe Church in Belmont, 6700 Wilkinson Boulevard. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:30 PM at the church prior to the celebration of life.
