Richard Colombotti

Richard Thomas Colombotti passed peacefully into God’s hands on July 27, 2022. Richard  was born June 18, 1955 , in Brooklyn New York   to the late Raymond Colombotti  and Dorothy Colombotti.

He has lost his life due to a rare form of blood cancer. Ricks wishes is that everyone get tested anytime your body tells you anything is wrong and do yearly checkups for cancer, while his cancer was very rare and effects only 1 in 10 million, there are easily detected cancers that can be found and stopped with regular screenings.

Richard recently retired after 44 years at Duke energy in 2021.

Richard  enjoyed Music, Movies, And cars  throughout his life. He especially  loved music, Like Jimmy Buffett, U2, and all classic rock. He spent most of his life in Florida enjoying the sunshine and hanging out with his close friends and family.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Richard will be forever grateful that they knew him.

Richard was a generous man and helped many people less fortunate then himself.

Richard has lived in Florida, New York City and Charlotte North Carolina

Richard has requested that a service not be held.
