Roger Dale Coley

Roger Dale Coley, 33, of Concord, North Carolina took his final breath surrounded by friends and family on March 30, 2024. Roger was born to Katie Barbee (Travis Furr) and Micheal (Victoria) Coley on November 14, 1990. Roger is preceded in death by his youngest son, Jax Coley, grandparents, Larry and Judy Coley, brother Travis Furr Jr, and cousins Robert and Philip Coley.  Roger was a loving father and is survived by his children, Roger Jr, Madison, and Leland Coley, Peytan Furr, and Kofi Johnson, parents Katie Barbee and Micheal (Victoria) Coley, and siblings Kathy, Katelyn, Brittany, Jessica, Esteban, Todd, Brandi, Josh, and Amber, many aunts and uncles, and the love of his life, Christine Forren.

Roger loved riding motorcycles, fishing with his sons, fixing cars, and hanging out with his best friends, JP Buckles and George Michael, aka “Bookie”. He was our very own “backyard tree mechanic”, otherwise known as a Mr. Fix it. He always said he could fix anything, just might require a little bit of duct tape or super glue, but nothing was too difficult to be put back together. Roger loved all his children deeply and did not know a stranger in this world. He was a kindred spirit and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He will be missed greatly by many, and summer lake days will not be the same.
