Thomas Moran

Thomas (Tom) Richard Moran, 62 of Charlotte died May 11 after a 2 year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Tom’s body was donated to Wake Forest School of Medicine and services will be held in the family home. Tom is survived by his wife, Cindy Raffield Moran; stepson, A. Kyle Sapp; sisters, Sally (Howard) Shipp, Nancy (Shelby) Corbin, Colleen (Bob) Consol and Mary Clare (Mike) Pfundstein; brother-in-law, Chris Ingram as well as nine nieces and nephews. During his illness, Tom was not only blessed with the love and devotion of his wife, brother-in-law, sisters and caretakers, but also other relatives, neighbors, and friends who visited him frequently and went to great lengths to help him in his struggle with ALS. Tom's life was cut short by his disease but the rippling effects of his loving and gentle kindness are felt by many and will be infinite and eternal.
